This is fantastic! Just have to remember to turn it counter clockwise at first. Everyone who has issues with not being able to open jars needs one! I really am thrilled not to have to ask my husband to stop playing Scrabble and open a jar for me…lol! A great product!

MAKES A HARD JOB VERY EASY...BUT ON METAL LIDS TYPICALLY LEAVES A "THORN" OF SHARP METAL ON THE EDGE OF LID...NASTY SHARP. I KEEP A PIECE OF MEDIUM EMERY CLOTH TO SAND IT DOWN. NO ISSUE AND IS FINE ON PLASTIC LIDS. THE GOOD NEWS IS IT IS CAPABLE OF EASILY OPENING THE HARD STUCK ON LIDS OF ALL REGULAR SIZES.

Straightforward installation, took maybe 10 minutes, if that. Invisible under cabinet mounting. Sturdy product, grabs the cap with serrated teeth as you twist the container. Teeth are metal so I'm guessing it will last a long, long time.

I was nervous this wouldn’t really work, but hot damn—it opens literally everything, even the five gallon jar of pickles I bought. As a person with carpal tunnel, my hands can be really weak. This instantly opens every jar ever—even the ones stuck closed (like my grape jelly that somehow was stuck not matter what I did). Will definitely be buying one for my mother who needs one!

It was easy to install. We screwed it in under a cabinet. I have arthritis but with this I can open anything from a pop bottle to a big jar. Super easy.

I recently prepared a taco salad and when I tried to open the jar of salsa to top it off I could not get the jar open although I used a couple of 'jar opener' products that didn't help. I'll admit that when I saw the picture and the price I was really skeptical but thought I'd give it a try. Installing it took about 10 minutes and I did install it backwards as the Amazon reviewers said it works better that way and it is amazing! Quality is good. Just didn’t receive it next day. So don’t say order $25 and get next day bc you don’t do it.

I used to struggle to open jars or had someone open them for me. Now I can easily open them myself. You will wish you had bought one sooner.

Old age sucks. After trying to open jars that defied "brute" strength, hot water, the jar opener that has a handle on the top etc. I got irritated enough after spilling half a jar of sweet relish that I bought this opener. It works with little effort even on those jars that defied me previously.
