Excellent magnifier once you get it aligned. Not the easiest to figure out at first. But works well once you get the hang of it. Keep trying, your phone needs to be on the 1x camera. Shift the alignment till there's no halo and make sure you place the camera all the way down on the object.

I got this out of curiosity, hoping it would at least magnify some things. I was surprised to see that it actually does what it says! Finally, an affordable, ultra-portable microscope. You only have one setting, and you must take your phone out of any protective cases so the phone lens is directly on the microscope lens, but it makes a crisp clear picture! The led lights are perfectly placed to illuminate the object. Best option for the money!
