The brush is sturdy and easy to hold. I haven't used it to dispense dishwashing liquid yet, but it appears to be quite capable of doing so. The bristles are embedded in a plate which unscrews to fill the liquid reservoir.

I love that these are threaded. I have some cheap ones where the top just had a lip keeping the rubber top on, well over time and with soap it wouldn't stay on. These have a threaded top and a threaded brush so you can mix and match the bottom as well as fill it with soap and it will stay
